NSEP David L. Boren Graduate Fellowships
MISSION
The Boren Fellowships enable outstanding U.S. graduate students to pursue specialization
in area and language study or to add important international dimensions
to their education. The Boren Fellowships fund students pursuing study
of regions other than Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
PURPOSE
The Boren Fellowships enable graduate students in professional
and other disciplines to enhance their educational experience in an area
of the world that is critical to national security.
AWARD
Funding will support up to six academic semesters. The
program is not designed to cover the full cost of tuition, but rather to
fund the component of tuition which is directly applicable toward disciplines.
For fellowship applications proposing study or research abroad, students
must submit a budget outlining travel, living, and miscellaneous expenses.
