These lessons are designed to be used in conjunction with a visit to The Textile Museum's Flowers of Silk and Gold: Four Centuries of Ottoman Embroidery exhibition. For those of you unable to schedule a visit to The Textile Museum we invite you to use the lessons titled Lessons for the Classroom. Here you will find will find lessons that have been adapted for the classroom.

Scheduling a School Program:
Docent led tours are available October to May, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10:15am - 3pm; Thursday, 1:30 - 3pm. To schedule a school program, call 202-667-0441, ext. 65, at least one month prior to your preferred date(s).

Ordering Slides for Use in Classroom:
Slides of select objects in the exhibition may be ordered free of charge for use in the classroom. The slides are essential to the lesson plans if you are unable to visit the Museum. To order slides email info@textilemuseum.org.
