Alumni in New York City gathered for a happy hour hosted by Ken Adelsberg, JD ’79; Matt Brief, JD ’80; Alan Kress, JD ’71; Amir Shaikh, JD ’06; and Patrice Sulton, JD ’08.
The George Washington Law Alumni Association hosted a “Wines of the U.S.” wine tasting in Washington, D.C., featuring a presentation from the Washington Wine Academy.
The admissions and alumni offices partnered for Alumni and Admitted Student Receptions in San Francisco, Seattle, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Miami, Atlanta, and New York. • D.C.-area alumni participated in Coffee with Experience, a speed networking program co-hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations, Student Bar Association, and Career Development Office.
• The Government Procurement Law Program celebrated in February with about 500 guests at the 50th Anniversary Gala.
• Alumni enjoyed the talents and humor of students and faculty members during the Law Revue show and reception.
• Intellectual Property alumni networked at alumni receptions during the BIO International Convention in Chicago and during the INTA Annual Meeting in Boston. Thank you Steptoe & Johnson and Kramer & Amado for co-hosting these opportunities!
• Phoenix-area alumni gathered for dinner with professor Jonathan Turley.
• The class of 1970 joined the esteemed Stockton Guard and led the graduation processional. Members of the class of 1970 and alumni who graduated 40 or more years ago are welcome to join us during Alumni Weekend in the fall for the next Stockton Guard Induction Ceremony.
• Sports enthusiasts participated in the annual baseball outing featuring the Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets.
• New York City-area alumni enjoyed an alumni reception hosted by Margarita “Ari” Brose and Jeff Schweon from the class of 1989 before the 2010 GW Manuel F. Cohen Memorial Lecture.
• Alumni and students laced up for the 20th anniversary of the Lawyers Have Heart 10K run in June.
• The Supreme Court of the United States admitted GW Law alumni during the biennial group swearing-in ceremony.
