Alumni Weekend 2001 CancelledPlans Under Way for AW 2002
Due to the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, GW cancelled most events scheduled for Alumni Weekend 2001, Sept. 14-16. With nearly 2,000 pre-registered participants, Alumni Weekend 2001 was sure to be the largest ever. Alumni who were scheduled to celebrate a class reunion in 2001 will be invited to return to campus next year, when their reunion will be re-hosted.
Alumni House is joining forces with GWs Office of Parent Services to merge Alumni Weekend with Family Weekend, beginning in 2002. This bigger-than-ever celebration will feature Midnight Madness, class reunions, alumni celebrations, campus tours, a feature concert, and much more! Mark your calendars now for Alumni Weekend 2002: Oct. 11-13.
