Walter Green Fellowships
Deadline: 9 March 2018 (12:00 PM/NOON EST)

All awards for the 2017-18 academic year have been made. Thank you for your interest in the Walter Green.

The Walter Green Fellowships are for Master's students who intend a career in public service or government and work in a paid job or internship for at least 15 hours a week. The student can be full or part time, but must be or will be employed in a paid job or paid internship related to their program at GW in the DC Metro Area at the time of application. (GW employees are not eligible.)

Successful applicants will be representative of the goals of public service and government, such as policy and engaging/working with the community.

The fellowships will be up to $6,000 for full-time study and up to $3,000 for half time study (at least 6 credits a semester). This award does not support the summer semester, only fall and spring. Students who have not received fellowship funding for their study will receive preference for this fellowship. Please also note that other GW awards cannot be held with this award
