Research interests include hybrid materials of the f-elements, crystallography, hydrothermal synthesis, in situ studies and the nuclear fuel cycle. Teaching interests include developing technical literacy for non-technical inviduals within the nuclear policy community.

Service interests include my role as Vice President (Pres. Elect) of the American Crystallographic Association.
