Eisen to Head GW’s Judaic Studies Program

Robert Eisen, associate professor of religion, assumed the duties of director of the Judaic Studies Program in July. Eisen has been at GW for 16 years.

His interests include Jewish philosophy, Jewish ethics, biblical interpretation, comparative religion, and issues of religion and international conflict. In 2005, he
received the Bender Teaching Award, a University-wide prize given
in recognition of teaching excellence.
