College of Professional Studies Dean Named
Kathleen M. Burke was appointed dean of the College of Professional Studies, GW President Steven Knapp announced on Sept. 29. Dr. Burke holds a Ph.D. in language and literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, and brings to the deanship extensive academic and entrepreneurial experience. Programs at the College of Professional Studies are often innovative and designed with adult learners and working professionals in mind through collaboration with government agencies and business leaders.
