New GW Logo

You may have noticed the new “90 Years in Foggy Bottom” banners around campus. The central focus of those banners, and GW’s new visual identity, is a dynamic image of George Washington. This two-year process to develop the new logo and graphic standards manual stemmed from discussions with stakeholders from across the University about the benefits of a new unified identity. A transition period to adopt the new image will take place throughout 2002 while the old letterhead and other materials are phased out. Look for the full story on the new identity in the Jan. 15 edition of ByGeorge!
