November 2007 GW Comes Together for Interfaith Iftar
Hundreds of GW community members gathered for the University's sixth annual community Iftar, the traditional Muslim breaking of the Ramadan fast, held Oct. 10 in the Marvin Center. The event featured prayers by Muslim and Jewish student leaders, halal and kosher food, and welcoming remarks by President Steven Knapp.
