The George Washington Awards are given each year to individuals within the University community who have made exceptional contributions and have provided dedicated service to GW.

Oscar and Shoshana Trachtenberg Prizes
Established and endowed by President Emeritus Stephen Joel Trachtenberg in honor of his parents, the Oscar and Shoshana Trachtenberg Prizes are awarded annually to faculty members who have made a difference in their professions and the GW community.
