John M. Logsdon Receives Educator of the Year Award

John M. Logsdon, director of The George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute in GW’s Elliott School of International Affairs, received the 2006 Barry
M. Goldwater Educator of the Year Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). This award is presented to an individual who supports space and technology in education and commerce. Logsdon was chosen to receive the award for his service and for his efforts in preparing young professionals as future leaders of the space community in government and industry.
