Exhibition: Jules Olitski: An Inside View, A Survey of
Prints 1954-2007
A retrospective of prints of
works by the renowned color field painter.
Organized by Brattleboro Museum and Art
Center in Brattleboro, Vt., the exhibition features
works from 1954 to 2007, covering the
major artistic movements during Olitski’s
career. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday,
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Luther W. Brady Art Gallery,
Media and Public Affairs Building, 805

The U.S. Coast Guard Band: A Salute to America’s Veterans,
Past and Present
From a small fife and
drum group to the full contingent of the
Coast Guard Band, from the Revolutionary
War to present-day conflicts, the U.S. Coast
Guard Band presents music spanning the
nation’s history in battle. Highlights include
the U. S. Coast Guard Dixieland Jazz Band
and the Masters of Swing playing medleys
from the First and Second World War eras.
