Colonial Confessions: What Is Your New Year’s Resolution??
Sarah Magallanes, executive assistant, Student and Academic Support Services:
To get better at staying in touch with friends and family and visit them in New Jersey more often. A lot of my time is taken up by full-time work and school but my family is really important to me, so I will make sure to call them regularly in the new year.

Shawn Woods, media lab supervisor, School of Media and Public Affairs:
My New Year’s resolution is to get back into shape. I will start running and playing basketball. I’ve been sitting around too much during football season and need to get off the couch.
Steve Roche, program coordinator, Student and Academic Support Services:
To cook more! I want to take advantage of local food markets, like Eastern Market and the Farmers Market here at GW. I walk by it all the time but I don’t know what to cook, so I’m hoping I’ll get a cookbook for Christmas.
Toby Davidow, executive assistant, Student and Academic Support Services:
I will provide better customer service to all people I come across in my work. I will show more compassion and patience even during the most stressful moments.
