January 2008 GW to Host Science Olympiad Invitational Jan. 26
On Jan. 26, GW will host a one-day Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament for middle and high school Science Olympiad teams. These students participate in the invitational as preparation for their regional and state competitions. The state winners will come to GW this spring, May 30-31, as the University is hosting the Science Olympiad National Tournament, one of the nation’s premier science competitions. The core planning committee is especially interested to hear from members of the GW community who may have previously been involved with Science Olympiad, whether as a competitor, coach, or event supervisor.
