Seminar: The Challenges of Integrating Islam: Comparative Experiences of Europe and the Middle East. Sponsored by the Elliott School of International Affairs’ Institute for Middle East Studies and the Institute for Europe, Russia, and Eurasian Studies. Sessions include Contrasting Approaches to Religious Practice—The Issue of Head Scarves; Interactions Between State and Religion: Egypt and Denmark in Comparative Perspective; and Emerging Transnational Communities.
