Albright, McCarrick, Wiesel Headline “Kalb Report”

Season's First Show Scheduled for Sept. 11 at 8 pm

Nobel Prize winning author Elie Wiesel, Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Roman Catholic archbishop of Washington, and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will appear on “The Kalb Report” scheduled to begin at 8 pm on Sept. 11 at the National Press Club.

Moderator Marvin Kalb will lead a discussion on what we’ve learned as a nation over the past year, the appropriate paths to follow in the future, and how we’ve changed as a result of these new realities. The program also will explore the appropriate role of the press in serving the public interest in times of war, how the press can influence public policy as we move forward, and government/press cooperation in extraordinary times.
