GW Gets Ranked
Programs Rate as Best in the Country
GWs Law School, Graduate
School of Education and Human Development, and graduate programs in
health and public affairs were ranked among the nations best in
the latest Americas Best Graduate Schools issue of
US News & World Report, which hit the streets April 8.
The GW Law School is tied for 25th on this years list. Among
law specialties, GWs intellectual property law program is ranked
second in the nation. The international law program moved up four slots
to sixth, while the environmental law program is ranked ninth. The
Law School also was recognized as having one of the most racially diverse
student bodies in the nation, ranking 15th on the list for Law
School Diversity.
The Graduate School of Education and Human Development is ranked 35th
in the country and is listed 11th among 188 private institutions
granting doctoral degrees surveyed this year.
The magazine also included its most recent analysis of various health
professions, where GWs physician assistant program is ranked second
in the nation, the rehabilitation counseling program is ranked seventh,
and the speech-language pathology program is 30th.
