Peer to Peer Praise

The Decision Analysis Society recognized GW’s graduate prescriptive decision programs with the peer-review designation of “High Quality.” The society honor commends GW’s business and engineering schools for making significant educational and research contributions to the nation’s intellectual resources in decision making.

“This is yet another feather in GW’s cap for its contributions to education and research,” Dean Susan M. Phillips said. “Whether the Master of Business Administration program or our other graduate programs, our curricula emphasize the importance of informed decision making. Our faculty members, who the Decision Analysis Society recognize with the ‘High Quality’ distinction, are the same who teach our students to be better managers.”

The society reviewed the teaching, research and service activities of faculty in the decision field, and recognized GW for its decision-oriented contributions to literature and graduate education, as well as for the number of doctoral candidates who graduated from a decision program.
