GW Students Making a Difference

More than 100 GW students volunteered at six local community agencies for the 13th annual “Make A Difference Day,” Oct. 25. The projects, organized by GW’s Office of Community Service and The Neighbors Project, included park clean-ups, Halloween activities for children, site maintenance and vegetable harvesting.

“It’s great to see everyone in the GW community coming together to help make the greater Washington community a brighter place,” said Alli Demarest, Neighbors Project service coordinator and a senior at GW.
