100 Years of Hatchets

The GW Hatchet kicked off its Centennial Celebration during Colonials Weekend with an exhibition and reception in GW’s Media and Public Affairs Building. Many current and former Hatchet staffers attended the event, which featured a display of Hatchet newspapers, photographs and memorabilia dating back to the first edition in October 1904.

The exhibition will be on display in the building’s first floor display cases through April. The Hatchet will hold its Centennial Gala in the Marvin Center Ballroom March 27. For more information about the year-long celebration contact, Steve Morse, Hatchet general manager at 994-1310.
