Adopt-A-Family Deadline Nov. 19

With November here and Thanksgiving just around the corner, GW’s annual Holiday Party committee is already meeting and planning for many of the events that make GW’s holiday season so special. Leading those activities is the annual Adopt-a-Family program, which pairs departments with needy families. Last year GW lent a hand to 77 Washington area families donating roughly $10,000 worth of presents and food to the nearly 400 people. Sign-up forms are already on their way and departments have until Nov. 19 to fill them out and get them back to Carolyn Vasques Scalera, assistant director of the Student Activities Center.
