Make-Up Days Announced
Classes Rescheduled Following Hurricane
In the wake Hurricane Isabel the University has announced
plans to make-up the classes that were canceled Sept. 1819, as well
as classes that would have been conducted on the Mount Vernon Campus Sept.
22. A variety of options were considered for making up the canceled classes,
and final decisions were made with input from the Student Association
and Faculty Senate.
The following make-up schedule applies to all classes offered on the Foggy
Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses with the exception of those in the Law
School, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the School of
Public Health and Health Services. Students in these programs should contact
their respective schools regarding make-up classes.
Classes scheduled for Sept. 18 will be rescheduled for Dec. 9. Classes
missed on dates other than Sept. 18, 19 and 22 should be made up on Dec.
8. Sept. 19 classes will be made up Dec. 10. The original make-up day
for the Foggy Bottom campus has been move from Dec. 9 to Dec. 6. Faculty
members must arrange classroom assignments for days other than Sept. 18,
19 and 22 through the University Scheduling Office (sched@gwu.edu). Make-up
classes for the Mount Vernon Campus must be scheduled through the Mount
Vernon Scheduling Office (jmnoble@gwu.edu).
Classes that would have been conducted on the Mount Vernon Campus on Sept.
22 will be made up on Dec. 5. Faculty members who have scheduling conflicts
on Dec. 5 should contact Associate Registrar Jean Noble (jmnoble@gwu.edu;
242-6633).
