“The Kalb Report” Named Best Public Affairs Radio Program In DC


The Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association has named “The Kalb Report” as Best Public Affairs Program on radio in the Washington, DC, region.

The winning entry, “Ted Koppel — Back from the War,” aired live on 630 WMAL in April 2003.

Moderated by the distinguished journalist/ scholar Marvin Kalb and produced by GW Vice President for Communications Michael Freedman, the series is a public affairs partnership of GW, The National Press Club, The Joan Shorenstein Center on The Press, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard University and News Talk 630 WMAL Radio.
