May 17, 2005 Wilmarth Honored Arthur E. Wilmarth, professor of law, GWLS, outgoing chair of the Faculty Senate Executive Committee, was honored with a resolution of appreciation by the Senate at its April 8 meeting. The resolution introduced by President Trachtenberg, noted Wilmarth’s “wide range of outstanding contributions” to the University “during 19 years of exemplary service.” The resolution stated that Wilmarth had “demonstrated unfaltering commitment and adherence to the principles of shared governance” and had compiled an outstanding record of major accomplishments on behalf of the University faculty.
