IMF-World Bank Meetings April 24-25
The IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings will be held on Saturday and Sunday,
April 24–25. As many as 2,000 protestors plan a march through the
city starting from, and finishing at, Franklin Square, with a stop along
the way at Murrow Park near the Foggy Bottom headquarters of the IMF and
World Bank. In addition, the “March for Women’s Lives”
is scheduled for April 25. The event, in support of reproductive freedom
for women, is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of participants.
University planning for these events is on-going. More information, if
required, will be available on the Campus Advisories Web site (www.gwu.edu/~gwalert)
as it becomes available.
