Brokaw Scheduled for Next “Kalb Report”

Tom Brokaw, NBC’s leading anchor and one of America’s most recognizable journalists, is tentatively scheduled to sit down with Marvin Kalb on March 31 to talk about journalism, foreign affairs, and a variety of other topics. As the sole anchor of “NBC Nightly News” since 1983, Brokaw has covered major events in world capitals and small towns across America, in addition to other contributions to NBC News programs. He joined NBC News in 1966, reporting from California and anchoring for the local affiliate in Los Angeles. Through his such books as “The Greatest Generation,” Brokaw has offered insight into America’s history, especially during World War II.

The March 31 event is planned to begin at 8 pm at the National Press Club. For free tickets, visit the Marvin Center Ticketmaster. For more information, call 994-6460.

Please Note: This event is contingent upon events involving Iraq.
