Kalb Report Tackles Ethics with New York Times Editor
Bill Keller
Bill Keller, executive editor of The New York Times, was the guest
on The Kalb Report Feb. 9. He discussed the current position
of the paper, its future and the Jayson Blair scandal.
Keller, who became executive editor of The New York Times in July,
previously served as a columnist and senior writer for The New York
Times Magazine. Keller won a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the
Soviet Union.
The Kalb Report is co-sponsored by GWs School of Media
and Public Affairs, The Joan Shorenstein Center on Press, Politics and
Public Policy at Harvard University and the National Press Club. The show
was underwritten by a grant from the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism
Foundation.
