The Miles Add Up

The Internal Revenue Service increased the standard mileage rate for the use of a car (including vans, pickups, or panel trucks) to ¢37.5 per-mile for all business miles driven after Dec. 31, 2003. The standard mileage rate for travel prior to Dec. 31, 2003, was ¢36 per-mile.
