Glenn Miller Orchestra Headlines Annual President’s
Night Feb. 5
The Glenn Miller Orchestra is scheduled to highlight the 15th Annual President’s
Night on Feb. 5 at Lisner Auditorium. GW will be dedicating this night
to the Univeristy’s veterans of World War II as an unofficial kickoff
to this spring’s festivities surrounding the new World War II Memorial
on the National Mall.
President’s Night is an annual event for members of The George Washington
University donor societies and the University’s special friends in
the District of Columbia. Artists who have performed at this event in
the past include Paul Anka, Dave Brubeck, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band,
Victor Borge, Arlo Guthrie and Judy Collins.
