Acknowledgements
Caroline Long, associate university librarian for collections services, Gelman Library, presented “From Selection to Access: Changes to Workflows at The George Washington University’s Gelman Library” at a pre-conference session of the 2002 Charleston conference on library acquisitions. She also participated in a panel discussion, “Where Have All the Acquisitions Librarians Gone II?”

Bill Mayer, assistant university librarian for information technology, Gelman Library, addressed Croatian academic and public librarians in two different workshops Nov. 5–6 in Zagreb. He focused on building consortiums, sharing resources, and improving customer service, and delivered a lecture on digital libraries to library and information science students from Zagreb University.

Jonathan Chaves, professor of Chinese, CCAS, published “Wu Li (1632–1718) and the First Chinese Christian Poetry” in Journal of the American Oriental Society, V. 122, N. 3 (July–Sept. 2002), pp. 506-519.

Davis L. C. Lee, associate professor of Chinese and international affairs, CCAS, ESIA, published “Readings in Chinese Newspapers (2001–02)” a textbook for third-year college-level students.

Mark Starik, associate professor of strategic management and public policy, SBPM, co-published “Research in Corporate Sustainability: The Evolving Theory and Practice of Organizations in the Natural Environment,” a book of peer-reviewed articles co-edited with Sanjay Sharma (Wilfrid Laurier University).
