Business School Names New Professional MBA Program Director

Susan M. Phillips, dean of the School of Business and Public Management (SBPM), announced the appointment of Albert Razick as director of the school’s Professional and Accelerated Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programs.

Razick is a seasoned veteran in the higher education arena with 14 years of experience at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and the Georgetown University Law Center. He was the director of Corporate and Certificate Programs in the Executive Education Division, where he worked with public and private organizations such as the World Bank, the US Department of Agriculture, Bechtel Corporation and National Geographic Television to create customized business programs to meet their educational needs. He also managed non-degree programs in international business management, international finance and information technology.

Razick will manage GW’s part-time MBA program, SBPM’s largest master’s student population. Professionals from companies such as Fannie Mae, Lockheed Martin and ExxonMobil join mid- to senior-level managers from the US Department of State, the International Finance Corporation and the US Navy to create a dynamic classroom environment. Razick also will work with organizations to develop customized programs that take advantage of SBPM’s diverse course offerings in the areas of accountancy, finance, international business, information systems, marketing, strategic management and public policy and tourism studies.
