Women’s Heart Screening


The Women’s Heart Center has offered female employees of The George Washington University a special discounted rate of just $40 for a heart disease screening.

Heart disease kills more women in their 20s, 30s and 40s than breast cancer. The 45-minute test includes:

• Screening for metabolic syndrome;
• Testing for high blood pressure, cholesterol (both good & bad) and diabetes/ pre-diabetes;
• Calculation of body mass index;
• Measurement of waist circumference; and
• A questionnaire about your health history, age, menopause status, diet and exercise, and tobacco use.

The Women’s Heart Center is located at 2131 K Street NW, Suite 600. Please call and schedule an appointment for your screening at 715-5400.
