“The Kalb Report” On Deck
The next edition of “The Kalb Report,” “Take Me Out to
The Ballgame,” featuring Tony Tavares, president of the Washington
Nationals, and John Feinstein, author, Washington Post columnist, and
regular contributor for Inside Sports, Basketball America, National Public
Radio, and ESPN, is scheduled for Feb. 7 at 8 pm. The forum focuses on
the return of baseball to Washington DC, with discussions about the history
of baseball in DC, what fans can expect, and what a baseball team means
to a city.
“The Kalb Report” is a partnership among GW, Harvard University,
and the National Press Club. The 2005 forums are funded by a grant from
the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation.
