Ruark grew up in Kingfisher,
Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in
Political Science in December 2003. She founded a chapter of Students
for Howard Dean at OU, and has worked as the statewide Generation Dean
(Dec. 2003) Smith has
worked as a lobbying the Oklahoma legislature on issues such as reproductive
freedom, GLBT rights, disability rights, environmental protection and religious
liberty; his company is called the Smith Group. He is a graduate
of Oklahoma State University.

Colbert is returning to Oklahoma
after working throughout the country for several years on various campaigns
for Democratic candidates, most recently in both Pennsylvania and Mississippi
for the 2002 election cycle. He managed Ben Odom's congressional
campaign in 1998 and worked in the Media Office of the Oklahoma House of
Representatives in 1999.
Elected Governor in 1998 at age
38 and served one term. Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in 2002,
but lost to incumbent Sen. Jim Inhofe. A "born and bred" Oklahoman, Walters
has degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Harvard Business School.
