Robert Sutter, professor of practice of international affairs, published an op-ed with the Lowy Insitute's "The Interpreter." The op-ed, "The Taiwan elections: Don't expect a US policy change," discusses expectations following the January 16 presidential election in Taiwan. Read the full op-ed HERE.

Marguerite Wedeman, a senior with a double major in international affairs and Chinese language and literature was selected for the Inagural Schwarzman Scholars Fellowship. Marguerite was previousuly awarded a Sigur Center Summer grant for Chinese Language study in Taiwan. Read more about her accomplishments HERE.

Robert Sutter, professor of practice of international affairs, and Elliott School alumnus David Gitter (MA, '15) co-authored two publications. One is an article in The Diplomat entitled "Evaluating Taiwan’s National Power," and the other is an NBR Special Report entitled "Taiwan’s Strong but Stifled Foundations of National Power." Both publications discuss the potential effects of Taiwan's presidential and legislative elections.
