Antonio López specializes in twentieth-century
and contemporary Latina/o literary and cultural studies.
His research focuses on Caribbean diasporic cultures and
issues of racial and national identity. He is currently working
on a book-length project that explores the writing and culture
of black Cubans in the U.S. in relation to Cuban-American
whiteness.
