What Advisors Do

While students are responsible for determining their schedule and meeting all degree requirements, Academic Advisors are here to guide graduate students through the entire graduate degree. An Academic Advisor can help you:

  • Choose your courses
  • Prepare your plan of study
  • Organize a study abroad experience
  • Check your progress towards graduation
  • Generally facilitate your successful completion of GW and the Elliott School's graduate program.
