The Young Alumni Network (YAN) sponsors events and offers benefits designed to meet the social, networking, and educational needs and interests of graduates from the past 10 years.
How Do I Join YAN?
If you graduated from GW in the past 10 years, then you are automatically a part of the network—it's free for alumni, so be sure to take advantage of these exciting opportunities!

Attend Alumni Events
Check the Calendar of Events and select "Young Alumni Network Event" in the event type drop down menu for upcoming programs or view our photo gallery of past events. YAN sponsors programming for recent graduates in the D.C. and NY metro areas.
Volunteer
Whether you are looking to engage fellow alumni or connect with students, we have an opportunity for you. Become a mentor through the Career Advisor Network, host a dinner for students through the Dinner with Alumni Program, interview prospective students through the Admissions Alumni and Parent Program, help build the Regional Program in your area, and more!
YAN Chapter Committees
The Young Alumni Network is run by a committee of dedicated recent graduates, and we are always looking for more! If you want to become a member of the YAN Committee, e-mail yngalums@gwu.edu.
Reunions
All GW graduates are invited to Alumni Weekend. If you would like to help plan your 5th or 10th reunion, e-mail reunion@gwu.edu.
GW Annual Fund and Luther Rice Society
Alumni gifts allow the University to provide the best experience to current and future generations of Colonials. GW's oldest giving society, the Luther Rice Society, welcomes young alumni for an annual gift of $250+ (alumni within 5 years of graduation) or $500 (alumni 6-9 years after graduation). This is an excellent networking opportunity for young professionals.
