Quadir Amiryar

Professor
Amiryar was raised in Kabul, Afghanistan where, in 1964, he helped create the
country's first democratic constitution. He is an expert on politics and
government of the Middle East and South Asia; Islamic politics and international
relations. Professor Amiryar has also served on the Board of Directors for
Cyprus Peace Movement for Afghanistan; was a founding member of the Central Asia
Research & Development Center; and was a legal consultant for the drafting
of the Constitution of Tajikistan.
