Robert Eisen,professor of religion, was quoted in World Peace Herald and in The Boston Globe regarding efforts by King Abdullah II of Jordan to combat Muslim extremism (9/22) and in The Canadian Jewish News regarding King Abdullah’s address at the interfaith dialogue meeting held in Washington, D.C. (9/28).

Ron Faucheux, part-time faculty at the Graduate School of Political Management, was quoted in the Indianapolis Star on John Roberts’ Supreme Court nomination (9/24).

Stephen Hess, distinguished research professor of media and public affairs, was quoted by Gannett News Service (9/16) on Hurricane Katrina’s possible effects on the 2006 elections and by Reuters on the government’s response to Hurricane Rita (9/22). He also was quoted in The Toronto Star and USA Today about President Bush’s reputation after Hurricane Katrina (9/28). Additionally, Hess was quoted in New York Daily News on legal and political trouble in the GOP (9/29).

James Horton, Benjamin Banneker Professor of American Studies and of History, was quoted in a New York Times story about an exhibition opening at the New York Historical Society called “Slavery in New York” (9/27).

Amb. Karl F. Inderfurth , John O. Rankin Professor of the Practice of International Affairs, did interviews with Voice of America International (9/20) and U.S. News & World Report (9/20) on the Afghan Elections.
